For Mr. Ravindra and Mrs. Vijaya Patil, becoming parents has been a journey filled with years of heartbreak, struggle, and hope.

Originally from Maharashtra, the couple now lives in Jaipur in search of a livelihood. They were blessed with a child 18 years ago, but sadly, their son suffers from mental disabilities and remains unable to live a normal and independent life despite years of treatment.

Hoping to welcome another healthy child into their family, the couple continued to hold on to hope. But they faced another heartbreaking challenge when Mrs. Vijaya suffered 8 miscarriages, each one bringing unimaginable pain and shattered dreams.

After nearly 20 years of marriage, their prayers finally seemed to be answered.

On 28 August 2026, Mrs. Vijaya gave birth to a premature baby boy. But their long-awaited happiness quickly turned into another fight for survival.

Their newborn, Baby of Vijaya Patil, weighed only 1.490 kg at birth. Due to his extreme prematurity and fragile condition, he is currently admitted to the NICU at Cradle Children Hospital, Jaipur.

He is suffering from Severe Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Shock, Sepsis, Neonatal Jaundice, and Thrombocytopenia and requires urgent specialized NICU care to survive.

While their tiny newborn fights for every breath, his parents are struggling to arrange the money needed for his treatment.

Mr. Ravindra works as a labourer at a disposable-items shop and earns only around Rs 500 per day. He is the sole earning member of the family. To continue his baby's treatment, he has already spent approximately Rs 1.25 lakh, borrowing money from friends, relatives, and even his shop owner.

His resources are now exhausted.

After 20 years of hope, 8 miscarriages, and countless prayers, the family is now facing the terrifying possibility of losing their newborn because they cannot afford his treatment.
