Baby of Mrs. Dipika was born on 22 April 2026 as a late preterm baby through a surgical delivery. Soon after birth, the newborn developed severe respiratory complications and had to be admitted to the NICU for urgent medical care.
Currently, the baby is battling multiple life threatening conditions including Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of Newborn (PPHN), lung collapse, pneumothorax, and sepsis. The baby is on oxygen support and receiving intensive treatment at Neoclinic Hospital in Jaipur.
The baby’s father, Mr. Jitendra, earns a small income by running a pan stall. In order to save his child, he has already spent nearly 4 lakh rupees by using all his savings and borrowing money from relatives and friends. Sadly, the family now has no financial support left to continue the treatment.
Doctors have advised another 20 to 25 days of NICU care along with oxygen support, medicines, investigations, and specialized neonatal treatment.
