In the small town of Ramganj Mandi, 12 year old Zunaid lived a happy and simple life. He was cheerful, healthy, and full of dreams like any other child his age.
But one day, everything suddenly changed.
Zunaid developed a mild fever. What seemed like a normal illness quickly became serious. Within just 12 hours, he started having repeated seizures, leaving his family shocked and scared.
He was first taken to Jhalawar Government Hospital and then shifted to Matri Hospital as his condition worsened. Despite all efforts, the seizures did not stop.
Now, Zunaid is fighting for his life on a ventilator in the PICU at Neoclinic Children Hospital.
A father’s struggle
His father, Mr Abdul Nasir, works as a fabricator. He has already spent more than 10 lakh rupees to save his son. This was all the money he had.
Today, he feels helpless.
He is watching his child fight for life with no money left, but still holding on to hope.
