In a small home in Amer, Jaipur, a 14 month old child should be learning to walk, speaking his first words, and filling his home with laughter.
Instead, Baby of Suman is fighting for his life inside the Paediatric CTVS ICU at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.
Born with Congenital Heart Disease, his fragile heart has already faced a major battle. On 3 March 2025, he underwent a complex heart surgery that included COA Repair, PA Band, and PDA Ligation. It was a difficult procedure, but he survived.
Now, he must undergo another critical surgery known as PA Debanding, VSD Closure, and PA Plasty. These procedures are not optional. They are necessary for his survival.
At just 14 months old, he should be playing and exploring the world. Instead, he lies surrounded by hospital machines, oxygen lines, and constant monitoring. Every breath he takes depends on timely treatment and medical care.
His father, Mr Chandar Mohan Meena, works as a daily wage labourer earning between twelve to fifteen thousand rupees per month. The family has already exhausted all their savings to manage the previous surgery and ongoing hospital expenses. The costs of major heart procedures, ICU care, oxygen support, medicines, and prolonged hospitalization are far beyond their means.
Despite their financial hardship, the parents have not lost hope. His mother sits beside him day and night, praying silently. His father waits outside the ICU, holding on to faith that his son will survive.
But they cannot do this alone.
This is an urgent appeal for help.
Your support can help cover the cost of the upcoming heart surgery, ICU care, medicines, and hospital expenses. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference in giving this child a second chance at life.
Please come forward and support Baby of Suman.
Your kindness today can help save a tiny heart and bring hope back to this family.
