On 11 December 2025, Mr Kailash Meena and Mrs Kaali Meena from Jaipur welcomed premature twin babies into their lives, a girl and a boy. What should have been the happiest moment for the family soon turned into fear and uncertainty.
Due to prematurity and weak immunity, Baby of Kaali struggled to fight infections from the beginning. On 17 February 2026, her condition suddenly worsened, and she was rushed to the NICU at DMICC Hospital in Jaipur.
Doctors diagnosed her with respiratory failure, severe pneumonia, sepsis, and anemia. She was immediately placed on ventilator support as her tiny body fought for every breath. After critical care, she has now been shifted from ventilator support to oxygen support, but her condition remains serious.
Doctors have advised that she will need at least three to four more weeks of intensive NICU care, including oxygen support, medicines, injections, blood transfusions, and round the clock monitoring. The estimated cost of continued treatment is over five lakh rupees.
For her family, this amount feels impossible.
Her father, Mr Kailash Meena, works as a bike rider for Ola and Uber and earns only twelve to thirteen thousand rupees per month. The family lives in a small tin roof house in Jaipur and struggles daily to meet basic needs. They have already spent fifty thousand rupees on hospital bills, exhausting their savings and borrowing money from relatives and friends.
Now they have nothing left.
Every day in the NICU adds to the medical expenses. Every day is critical for her survival.
Baby of Kaali is just a newborn. She has not seen the world outside hospital walls. She has not felt the comfort of her home. She deserves a chance to grow, to breathe freely, and to live a healthy life.
Your support can help continue her life saving treatment. Even a small contribution can help cover NICU charges, oxygen support, medicines, and intensive care.
Please come forward and support Baby of Kaali in this critical time.
Your kindness can help this little girl recover, grow stronger, and finally go home to her family.
