Born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, this newborn girl entered the world into a humble family that had nothing but love and hope for her future. Instead of being safely at home in her mother’s arms, she is now admitted to the NICU at Cradle Children Hospital in Jaipur, battling serious medical complications.
She is suffering from severe jaundice, abdominal distension, sepsis, and hypotonia. Due to her critical condition, she is dependent on oxygen support and constant medical care. Every day in the NICU is a fight for survival. Every hour is important.
Her parents, Mrs Ranjina and Mr Ashok Thokur, come from a very modest background. Mr Ashok works as a garbage van driver and earns just enough to manage daily household expenses. Since their baby was admitted to the hospital, he has spent all his savings trying to save her life.
Today, they have no financial support left.
The cost of continued NICU care, oxygen support, medicines, and investigations is far beyond what they can afford. Despite their helpless situation, the parents remain hopeful and pray that someone will come forward to help their daughter survive.
