Baby Khadijah Batool is a young child from Bandipore in Jammu and Kashmir who is fighting for her life due to a serious heart condition present from birth. She has been diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease, which affects the normal functioning of her heart and makes everyday survival difficult.
After months of struggle, Khadijah underwent a critical heart surgery on 27 January 2026 at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jaipur. While the surgery was necessary to save her life, her recovery is still ongoing. She is currently admitted in the ICU and remains on oxygen support under constant medical supervision.
Khadijah’s father runs a small crockery shop in their hometown and earns a modest income. The family has already exhausted their savings to cover the cost of surgery and hospital care. The ongoing expenses for ICU stay, medicines, oxygen support, and continued treatment are far beyond what they can manage on their own.
This child is too young to be fighting for every breath. She deserves a chance to recover, grow, and live a healthy life.
