Baby of Jyoti was born on 17 December 2025 in Ajeetgarh, Sikar. What should have been a moment of happiness for his parents quickly turned into fear when their newborn developed serious medical complications moments after birth.
He was born late preterm at 36 weeks and suffered from perinatal asphyxia and respiratory failure, which left him unable to breathe properly on his own. Soon after, his condition worsened when he developed necrotizing enterocolitis, a life threatening intestinal disease, along with sepsis, a severe blood infection.
To save his life, doctors performed an emergency surgery for ileo ileal anastomosis with a mild loop ileostomy. Following the surgery, the baby was admitted to the NICU at Neo Clinic Children Hospital in Jaipur, where he remains under constant medical supervision. He is dependent on ventilator support, strong medicines, and round the clock monitoring.
Doctors have advised that Baby of Jyoti will need around three more weeks of intensive NICU care, including respiratory support, post surgical treatment, infection control, and continuous monitoring. The estimated cost of treatment is approximately seven lakh rupees.
His father, Mr Chetan, works in a departmental store and earns only ten thousand rupees per month. With no savings and no medical insurance, the family is unable to arrange such a large amount on their own. Despite their best efforts, they are now struggling to continue their child’s life saving treatment.
This newborn has already faced more pain and struggle than most people experience in a lifetime. He deserves the chance to recover, grow stronger, and go home in his parents’ arms.
Your contribution can help cover the cost of NICU care, respiratory support, post surgical treatment, medicines, and ongoing monitoring. Even a small donation can make a meaningful difference.
Please come forward and support Baby of Jyoti. Your kindness can help give this child the chance to survive and live a healthy life.
