On 16th September 2025, a tragic accident changed the life of Master Saurabh, a 3-year-old boy from Village Bargawan, Tehsil Hindaun, District Karauli (Rajasthan).
While playing at home, Saurabh accidentally fell into hot water, suffering scald burns over 45% of his body, including his abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and even his genital area.
He is currently admitted in the PICU isolation ward of Neo Clinic Children Hospital, Jaipur, where he is undergoing painful and critical treatment. Saurabh requires:
Regular burn dressings on alternate days
IV antibiotics and antivirals
Intensive monitoring and supportive care
The Family’s Struggle
Saurabh’s parents, Mr. Dinesh Kumar and Mrs. Vinita, belong to a Below Poverty Level (BPL) family. His father works as a labourer, and the family’s financial condition was already fragile.
In desperation, they:
Borrowed money from relatives and friends
Even sold their buffaloes, their only livelihood source
Now, with mounting hospital bills, they have no means left. Mr. Dinesh cannot go to work as he stays by his son’s side, and the family is surviving on one meal a day.
